Earn degree credit through life experience!

Undoubtedly students have acquired education beyond the classroom from a combination of work/ministry experience, non-credit courses, seminar training and workshops during the course of their life. At VCBCS, we believe this valuable life experience can translate into college credit. If you can document your experience and articulate the learning that resulted, you may be eligible to receive life experience credit.

For undergraduate students, a maximum of 60 credits towards their degree program can be awarded.

For graduate students, a maximum of 9 credits can be awarded.

1. Submit a Life Experience Credit Application with all supporting documents.

2. Pay the Life Experience Credit Evaluation fee of $150.

3. Application is reviewed by the Executive Board who may request additional information or documentation.

4. The Board may require an interview with the applicant, conducted through phone or video conference.
